The Portuguese branch of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is composed by 15 local associations (sections) which help to integrate participants of mobility programmes in Portugal, as well as promote these programmes among the local community. It was legally registered in 2009 and now counts on around 500 volunteers in 16 cities.
